(BIA Certificate of Bookkeeping)
This
nationally recognised qualification has been developed for Bookkeepers by Bookkeepers.
For people who are looking for a career
as an employed bookkeeper we offer our 10 day
accredited Certificate III in Accounts Administration —
Bookkeeping course which includes
comprehensive bookkeeping training using MYOB
RightAccounts/Accounting
Plus.

BI-575: BIA Bookkeeper Program including the
FNS30310 Certificate III in Accounts Administration and
the
FNS40210 BIA Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
The Bookkeeping
Institute of Australia has written the
first ever training course for this qualification and it has
already been has been proven in the field with over 800 students undertaking the qualification.

BI-576: FNS40210 BIA Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
If you have
experience as a
bookkeeper or a BAS Agent or
have been
working in the Financial
Services industry for awhile you can enrol in
just the
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping —
without the need to first take a
Certificate III in Accounts Administration as a pathway.
BI-580: Start Your Own Bookkeeping Business Program
incorporating the FNS40210 BIA Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
For
people who wish to start their own contract
bookkeeping business this program incorporates the
FNS40210 BIA Certificate IV in Bookkeeping,
one years membership of ABN BAS and much more.

BI-582: Start Your Own Bookkeeping Business Workshop
This is
a one day workshop designed to help people set up their
own bookkeeping businesses. It does not include
membership of BIA or ABN BAS.

BI-560: Introduction to Bookkeeping & Accounting
(Accounting for Non-Accountants)
This
two day non-accredited trainer-led course
has been designed to
introduce the theory and practice of basic accounting
and bookkeeping to non-accountants.

BI-540: FNSBKG404A
Carry out Business Activity and Instalment Activity
Statement tasks
This
unit is a mandatory requirement of the
Tax Agent Services Act 2009
and need to be undertaken by anyone with a qualification
other than
FNS40210
BIA Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.

BI-670: BIA MYOB Certificate of Bookkeeping (non
accredited)
This
non-accredited
course
is for people who want to have a greater understanding
of the underlying principals of bookkeeping &
accounting, as well as receiving comprehensive bookkeeping
training using MYOB.

Where to take a class
South Brisbane Campus
You can
take all of our Bookkeeping courses at our South
Brisbane campus which is at 1407 Logan Road in
Mt. Gravatt Central, ideally situated for both Brisbane
CBD and Gold Coast students. There is plenty of free
parking in the streets surrounding us.
The
courses are co-ordinated by our Principal, Dennis Turner, who has
successfully operated a contract bookkeeping business
since the introduction of GST into Australia in 2000.
including a year with a major Bookkeeping Franchise with
over 50 franchisees.
Dennis
has almost 20 years experience with GST and prior to
coming to Australia Dennis held the position of
Financial Controller for 5 years after owning his own
computer business for 10 years. He has held a variety of
accounting and IT management roles over the last 30+
years and is well qualified to run this course.

Our
accredited BI-575 FNS40210 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and BI-570 FNS30310 Certificate III in Accounts Administration – Bookkeeping courses can also be taken
at any of the BIA campuses across Australia in New
South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland.
Each campus may run the course on different days dates
and days of the week. Some may even run evening classes
and others may be able to custom a course just to suit
