At the
Bookkeeping Institute of Australia we
have developed a unique series of Microsoft Office
training
courses that enables us to offer offer a variety of Microsoft courses including one day Basic, Intermediate and Advanced
courses and two day Basic/Intermediate or
Intermediate/Advanced courses.

Our classroom courses are led by an experienced
Microsoft
trainer and the class sizes are restricted to a
maximum of 12 students.
Our hands-on training methods ensure that students
achieve their learning outcomes by the use of a series
of hands-on exercises.
All of our course books and
exercise CD's are included in the low course fee -
as is lunch, tea & coffee and chocolate bars - and the
courses run from 9:15am to 4pm.

BI-210 Introduction to PC's, Windows and
Office: This one day course is ideal
for people only use a PC infrequently and wish
to improve their keyboard skills. It will give
you a good understanding of PC hardware and
software, the Windows operating system and
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

BI-860 Microsoft Project 2003 - Basic/Intermediate:
This 2 day self-paced course is intended for
people who wish to learn how to use Microsoft Project 2003 to create and track project schedules.
It covers entering and monitoring tasks and a
detailed analysis of the assignment of resources
to tasks. Significant emphasis is placed on
overcoming project scheduling problems and the
case study approach allows learners to work
through typical scenarios that they will face
when using Project in real world applications.

BI-840 Microsoft PowerPoint - Day to Day
:
This course aims to increase your productivity
by providing the skills and knowledge to use
Microsoft PowerPoint effectively and efficiently
on a Day To Day basis.

BI-845 Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced:
This course aims to provide you with the
skills and knowledge to build and enhance
powerful, real-world presentations for sales,
budgets, clubs, and more. In this course you
will learn how to enhance text in a
presentation, add media features, setup a slide
show, and more.

BI-830 Microsoft Word 2003 - Day To Day:
This course aims to provide you with the skills
and knowledge to create real-world documents
including letters, memos, faxes, basic flyers,
basic newsletters on a day-to-day basis.

BI-832 Microsoft Word 2003 - Intermediate:
This course is designed for
participants with a good working knowledge of
Microsoft Word 2003 who wish to extend their
understanding of the automated and time saving
features of the application.

BI-835 Microsoft Word 2003 - Advanced:
This course aims to provide you with the
skills and knowledge to create documents,
automate many operations in Word, perform
advanced merges, outline a document, and use
WordArt.

BI-810 Microsoft Excel 2003 - Day to Day:
This Basic Excel course aims to increase your
productivity by providing the skills and
knowledge to use Microsoft Excel 2003 effectively and
efficiently on a Day To Day basis in real-world
applications such as budgeting, analysing sales,
producing reports, creating charts and graphs,
and managing small lists.

BI-812 Microsoft Excel 2003 - Intermediate:
This course shows you how to work more
efficiently with workbooks and worksheets,
enhance the appearance of data and worksheets,
perform analysis using functions, and to use the
sorting and filtering features to manage and
analyse data.

BI-815 Microsoft Excel 2003 - Advanced: This
course covers aspects of Microsoft Excel 2003 beyond
building basic workbooks and deals with workbook
automation and productivity features. It
includes areas such as absolute referencing,
lookup functions, autofilters, scenarios, pivot
tables, complex formulas, data analysis tools,
and automating workbook operations using macros.

BI-817 Microsoft Excel 2003 - Intermediate/Advanced:
This 2 day course covers all of the areas
covered by both the Intermediate Excel course
and the Advanced Excel course at a lower price
than the combined cost of the two courses. This
is our most popular Excel course.

If you are attending our
Mt. Gravatt training centre, lunch is
included and all of our courses start at 9:15am and finish at 4pm.

All of our classroom based computer
training courses are delivered by one of our
experienced trainers using
our proven self-paced techniques in which we provide
a 1st class course manual, that was especially
developed for Australian users, and an attached CD
of all of our class exercises. Both are yours to
keep so that you can practice back at your home
or office after the course. The class sizes are
restricted to a maximum of 12 students.
The manual follows a format that has
just the right level of ease and use – including an
easy to read font, plenty of screen shots, easy to
follow exercises, a real-world content, practical
case-studies and sound learning principles.
All participants receive a framed
Certificate of Achievement at the conclusion of the
course and lunch at a nearby restaurant in the sun is
included in the course fee.
